I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! Mine was good, but too much food. Saturday we went to my Mom and Dad's to dye eggs and eat lunch. My aunt brought a yummy cake with coconut icing, and my mom made no-bake cookies, so of course I sampled both. Then on Sunday "the Easter Bunny" gave my daughter a new silicon muffin pan, so she tried that out and made us some cupcakes with icing. Bad eating weekend, but nothing worse than I expected, and honestly probably better than most years.

I did get my run in on Saturday so that was good. It took a lot of talking myself into going, but once I got out there I felt pretty good and even shaved some time off of my 3 mile. I got a side ache while I was running though and it's that darn scar tissue pain. I stopped taking my pills for the pain as much because they make me so tired and I was paying for it Sunday. I didn't workout Sunday because I had pain just standing for short periods of time, so it's back to 2 pills. I guess working out when I can and being tired is better than not working out at all because I'm in pain. I'm going to start keeping a journal for this pain, along with taking my pills, that way I can see how I'm feeling and if I'm improving, if not I can call the doc about getting a pill that doesn't make me so sleepy.

Well, enough rambling about my aches and pains, this week will be better. I hope everyone has a great Monday!!
