I have quit smoking for a week now and I have decided that I need to change my life in other ways as well....it is time to start eating healthier and exercising. I am starting off my diet by having a smoothie filled with good food once a day.
164.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 34.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Good job on quitting smoking! I quit over 15 years ago, best thing I ever did. Just take one day at a time. You CAN do this.

Karmala, that is so awesome that you quit smoking. It was the hardest thing I ever did. I quit a few years ago and then had a back injury at work. I am just now trying to take all the weight back off... and I put on a good amount. I don't know how long you smoked for but my advice is to keep small fruits and veggies with you at all times. That's for the hand to mouth cessation. Also, vigorous walking when you REALLY WANT TO SMOKE BAD. That's was working so well for me, until I got injured. I know that you will do well. I believe in you.

Good for you!! I had 2 people close to me die of lung cancer, so I'm always happy to hear someone quit smoking!! This journey will be hard, but so worth it.
