Was locked out of FS for the past few days. Not sure why it does that sometimes. Had a good trip at sisters house with mom. Did a lot of walking and ate relatively good. Struggled sat night as they ordered pizza (my weakness). Had 3 pieces of pizza (1 large slice and two skinny ones so in reality it was two slices but made me feel like I got more). Maybe I should take a slice and start cutting into two immediately. Why does our brain do this? Loaded up on salad too. The scale says I'm up a pound but I don't officially weigh in til Friday so we will see. I think I did okay what with the stress of traveling with my mom (love her but we have very different opinions re religion, politics, and just way of life) so I'm always either biting my tongue or trying to change the subject so as not to make waves. I know this is a cause for stress and ultimately does not help in weight loss.

So, anyway....happy Tuesday everyone!

I bet you'll be fine by Friday. Just drink a lot of water and load up on a lot of veggies this week. Keep salt and sodium heavy foods low. Good luck, K!

Thank you! I read this after I had lunch today.....aka salt/sodium. Because I was out of town over the weekend, I didn't get to do my weekly grocery shopping. So, food today consists of granola bar and peach fruit cup for breakfast and chicken noodle soup and saltine crackers for lunch (all in my desk drawer). I figure it's better than fast food or starving myself and then choking down at dinner. Hubby has already promised to make a healthy taco salad for dinner. And, not working late tonight (shocker) so I have my gym clothes for a visit to the gym immediately after work. Ps - mom and sis said to tell you hi (I'm still bragging about you)!
