Got a walk in yesterday. Wasn't quite as long as I wanted, and I had some distraction since I took my four legged girl with me. She wanted to pull and pull and cross over in front of me and well I am sure you get the picture. If it is nice today then I will go again, but this time alone. I will use the time to walk the girls as just an added break...and will rotate them. So next time Lucy (our 3 legged girl - her leg was amputated in January) will go and then Viv.

I am proud of my food yesterday and didn't feel deprived so slowly getting back in gear. Also TOM is here and still did good; so I cannot complain. I know this is a good place to come for support and to stay on track. I just need to find a way to not get so stressed that I want to shut the whole world off and out.

DH has to have a tooth extraction next week (and graft) and then later down the road an implant. So I hate that he needs this to his crown, but he has to eat soup for the following 2 weeks....which means lots of low carb soups.

Good job on getting a walk in. I have the same problem with our dog, only she is 75 pounds, so when she pulls, I really have to hold on or just go with the flow lol. I guess it's added exercise though. Glad to have you back.

Great to have you back & that you're out walking again! I couldn't agree more that the support here amongst others who understand is so helpful! Xoxox

Thank you all...Yes this little girl I took yesterday she is about 30#. Our 3 legged dog is 65# and she still tries to pull. Since she is 2 months post-op it might be okay to take her on a walk. Maybe I will take her this afternoon. They do love to go into Home Depot..haha. Today DH was grilling me on the 'soft food' lol. I have a couple of good low carb soups and I think I just found a white turkey chili...I am thinking though that shredded chicken would be less grainy and less likely to create any problems. He has extracted Monday so we will see. It is definitely harder for me to be on track around him...so him having to be on soft foods for 2 weeks will be helpful for me getting back on track (I definitely wish he didn't have to have this done though!).
