Brina-marie's Journal, 11 January 2011

Well, I don't feel older or do I. I don't celebrate birthdays but there is something about getting older that makes you more aware of your mortatility and causes you to appreciate each moment with a different perspective. I am stuck at 181 for three weeks now. No extra carbs no cheating more intake. I am a little confused, a plateau at only 12 pounds of weight loss? Even after increasing my activity too. Well, I've got kids to each this am, no time to muse any longer.

Well Happy (uncelrated) Birthday. Are your recording everything that you eat? If so, then you are not eating enough, which will then put your body in starvation mode. This can prevent you from losing. Try working up to 1500-1800 calories daily within your allowed carbs for the day and I bet you'd be pleasantly surprised.

I know, I know but sometimes I forget toi eat or I am not hungry. I eat so little normally but I used to eat alot of carbs or snack. If I don't snack now I can't get my reccommended 1400 calories in. If I don't write it down I don't even realize how little I do eat. I drink my water though.lol Thanks, thats why we have each other for those needed reminders.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! Yup I agree you need to eat more. If you find it hard to eat a lot then add extra butter/mayo etc onto what you do manage to eat, to get those calories up. Esp with extra exercise too. It takes a bit of tweaking but you will get there!
