I'm waiting to start on December 25th, because we celebrate Christmas on the 24th (I'm Danish), so hopefully I will be able to have things lined up to start and lose the 8 - 13 lbs for Phase 1.

well I hope so, I'm doing a little exercise with my diet so hopefully it will help lose those stubborn lbs, before the boyfriend comes home from overseas... that would be awesome. Thanks again for welcoming me!

Welcome! It sounds like you have a good solid plan in place. But from my experience, don't go too overboard at first. It just makes it harder to maintain. Consider how long it took to gain weight- you should not try to lose it in an instant. Low carb diet WILL work quickly though. I lost 22 lbs my 1st 5 weeks. But after that.. that's when the work and the patience and fortitude come in. And there are lots of great people here for support! Good luck to you. I am sure you will do great!
