Know when you type a really long, meaningful journal and then inadvertently hit a key that takes you to a prior page causing you to lose everything you just wrote? Yeah. That just happened.

So---here is my much shorter version: I have recovered from the stomach bug, but my recovery was ruled by hunger and I blew my normal calorie intake last night at the football game. I get frustrated and am more inclined to completely fall off the wagon when I see a gain on the scale. So, I am consciously not weighing in until Monday to give myself time to catch up on missed exercise sessions and for my caloric intake to level out.

Today: I will mow the grass, landscape for fall, walk/jog 4 miles, clean and organize my bedroom closets, do a session of at home Zumba on wii, lift some free weights (arms) and eat healthy.

I know exactly what you mean about the deleted journal. I did that same thing just about 2 weeks ago! Glad you are feeling better!! Don't worry about that little bloop at the football game!! That was all because you were sick and recovering. Just keep on with your diet plan and exercise and all will be well!! I can't do the yard work I used to do, so I leave the mowing to the hubby!! Have fun doing your yard and enjoy your walk/jog, etc. !

I ended up deleting every single one of my plans for the day too! Instead, I spent the day shopping with my teenage daughter. Man, we had a blast. I haven't gotten my walk in yet today, but we were up standing and shopping on our feet for six hours straight. Going to try to get 2 to 3.5 miles in later tonight.

I do things of a similar nature now and then. FRUSTRATING! Most times, you can hit the forward button in your browser, and it'll be there still. Other times, you need more drastic things, like an endless amount of cuss words, and then the abbreviated version of your journal. LOL. Sorry it happened. You have my sympathy. :)
