Today is my son's first day of third grade and I guess third grade is when he doesn't need/want Mom to hang out at school with him, lol. After he got there and found his buddies he was more than fine with me leaving for work. I wasn't, I wanted to watch him walk into school, so I hung around at the back of the playground. Also, no hug, just a bump, but I expected that so hugged him at home before we left. My little man is growing up!
Monday my little princess starts Pre-K, so I get to start over with her needing/wanting me at school :)
I haven't really thought about it, but I took Monday off, so 3-day weekend for me, woo hoo! Only plans I have are some yard work for mom and having a fire and roasting hot dogs with the kids, they are excited, mostly to catch marshmallows on fire I think!
This weekend I need to come up with a workout routine to get back into. I miss it and I've let too many excuses allow me to skip it, so back on track!!
I'm ready to get out of here, going to get decorations for my sister's baby shower after work. At lunch I started picking up little things for her present. I found my niece a Big Sister shirt I'm excited about too, hope it gets here before next Saturday.
