Had a great morning. Got in 2.5 miles on the treadmill. Packed my exercise clothes and lunch for the trip to SF. The conference organizer said he's asked the hotel chef for chicken and steamed veggies for tomorrow's lunch. Hoping the conference goes well, food-wise, so I don't derail the downward trend.

Thanks, Ladies. So far, so good. Since I packed my lunch, I was able to eat that on the plane and avoid airport food. There were lots of appetizers at the conference reception, but skipped those; skipped the wine/beer in favor of sparkling water. Then had dinner at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel; ordered a salad appetizer and sashimi. My guests did order sake, so I did feel obliged to at least drink a sip to the toast, but otherwise drank green tea. Hopefully, tomorrow will be equally Atkins-friendly. I've planned to have breakfast in the room in order to avoid the conference continental breakfast; I've special-ordered lunch. Keeping my fingers crossed.
