Been a few days since I updated, but I've been checking every day.

Sunday Greg and I worked on getting the house organized - moving furniture around, putting things away and that sort of thing.

Monday I worked both jobs and I ate pretty well...I think 20 points for the day.

Today was a different story point wise! Greg and I haven't gone to the store so we don't have much to eat. We don't have a whole lot of cabinet space so we can't store a whole lot. So I had gone to Kim's apartment to work out and on the way home picked up Chick-Fil-A......aaahh. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and polynesian sauce. Just that meal was 21 freaking points. That's MORE than my whole day's worth! Oh well. And I should have checked before, but 1 of those sauce containers is 3, yes THREE points...I had two! Crazy. Live and learn. So tomorrow will be a low point day for me.

I also went and signed paperwork for that archaeological field technician job, which I should be starting the 25th! I'm excited about it because it will be a good salary and I like the people I'll be working with. Oh and I'll be working out while working...haha. But I'm dreading it because I don't do well in the heat (uh like I pass out if I get too hot)

Checked some books out from the library about careers and finances so I can try and figure out what I want to do with my life.

Tomorrow I work and then Kim and I are going to Hilton Head to get the rest of the things from her condo there and move up here. so that's all that's happening here. Oh and I weighed this morning and was down another .2! Slow and steady wins the race.

Sounds like everything is falling into place for you! I've never heard of Chick-Fil-A but I know about the hidden calories in take out food. Yikes. But you managed a loss even with that salt and calorie laden meal so you are doing something right. Your new job sounds great. Keep a wet bandana tied around your neck in the heat - it works great to keep your temp down. You can also buy a personal cooler from Sharper Image that works on the same principal. You wet some sponges inside it, slip it over your neck and turn it on. Little fans blow over the sponges, creating an evaporation cooling effect much like the bandana but a little more efficiently. I bought one in Hawaii many moons ago. I get lots of comments and questions when I wear it.

Chick-Fil-a, we have them here and my hubby likes them but last time he went in one, I went across the way to baja fresh. I happened to have that luxury available. I agree, you are doing well regardless your busy, crazy schedule, last minute take out and LIFE! Keep up the great job!

Lol cindy, I'm still trying to figure that out. I have a degree (B.A.) in anthropology and have done archaeology work since I was 15. I'm planning on going to graduate school next fall for library science. There are a couple things I think I want to do, such as being an archivist or working in a museum. So I go those career books to try and get more information about careers for bookworms! Thanks for the ideas evelyn! I will definitely be taking bandanas out there. I hope that in the next month it will start cooling off and I won't need to purchase something since this is only a temp. job until December.

Good Lord, that Polynesian sauce is sooo good, and sooo naughty! Evil, evil Chick-Fil-A. One should know that any restaurant chain that uses cows to sacrifice chickens must be evil on some level--I mean I know they're closed on Sundays and all, but somehow cows encouraging the eating of chickens seems like Americans promoting the eating of Canadians. *grin* Congrats on the new job--I'm jealous 'cause my retail job is boring and just generally sucks! I really hope you continue to dig it--heh heh. Way to go on your loss--slow and steady is becoming my mantra.

You are doing so well. Congrats on the new job and weight loss. I think whatever you choose to do in the future, will be great for you. I like Chick-Fil-A's salads with chicken.
