Bought a new scale, of which I love, but the only thing is that it is actally weighing em about 3 pounds more than my previous scale. What is up with that...nonetheless, this one may be the more accurate one and it is only 3 pounds. SO I will push to get back on track with where I was on the other scale to continue to log my weights as they decrease. Darn scales...

I need to buy myself a scale too. Right now I am using the Wii Fit and I know that it is not 100% accurate so I'm scared that once I have an actual scale the number is going to go up. Ahh well, not much we can do right? As long as you know you're on the right track don't worry about it. And you're definitely on the right track!

Don't sweat the initial variation between the scales; the important thing is the consistency of the difference between weigh-ins, i.e. if you lost 1 lb, that both scales show that you lost that 1 lb. Like you said, just look it as a challenge and motivation and keep up the good work!
