A bit frustrated with the scales. Tomorrow is weigh in day..which I may change to some other day. Although I haven't seen a change, Aunt Flo did come in town today, so maybe later. I've been trying to do the zig zag diet and it's going ok as far as getting my calories in, but nothing yet on the scales and it's been a bit over a week. So I was thinking about trying to jump start the scales again and do the "extreme weight loss" zig zag, which would be an average of 944 calories a day. That's not too bad for me. Any thoughts on this? Been exercising and getting a lot of walking in because of closing the fort.

Yesterday was a lot of work. Alan and I were cleaning out a carriage house so that we can start opening it for visitors. Inside there is a wagon and a buggy, but it's been quite awhile since it was cleaned out so I was inside the wagon vacuuming it out with a shop vac and then had to do the buggy. I was so dirty at the end of the day!

This weekend we're doing living history demonstrations at the fort, so I'll be portraying a laundress all weekend.

I've been closing the site so working 9-6, and I'm really not enjoying it because I don't feel like getting up early and working out before hand and then it's "late" when I get home and feel lazy after walking around for an hour or so closing the site. *sigh*

I am super excited about Greg coming though - only 6 more days! I think we'll have a great time, I only wish he could stay longer!

944 calories seem a bit low to me especially if you're exercising too. Sometimes if you don't eat enough then your metabolism slows down and the weight still doesn't come off. Good luck on whatever you decide to do :)

Perhaps you should give it another week. I think 944 is low as well.....

tom always makes the scale a bit difficult... 944 is low, but you make it up on you high days right? how high do they go? its more like watching cal per week

I think the extreme zig zag would be ok for a week or two to give you a "kick start" but I don't think it would be good for long term. It might be worth a try to get the scales moving. How exciting that Greg will be arriving in 6 days!
