In my experience the first week of a diet always has the greatest weight loss. I don't expect to lose 6 pounds per week. My goal is 2 to 3 pounds and if I exceed that on average I will up my calorie intake. As Torto said a lot of years ago, "Slow and steady wins the race". ;-)
