Happy New Year! Looking forward to a great year... and I know it will be so because of all the great friends here on FS. As I look back over 2012, one of the best things that happened to me was you & this FS website. As upsetting as it was for me to find myself again in the throes of binging, overeating, sugar cravings & weight gains, something good seems to always come from tough times. And that something good, wasn't just good, it was great -- YOU! So, I raise a (water) toast to 2013 & know it'll be a great one as we maneuver our way together through the food/sugar/diet/health maze. May 2013 bring us all peace & understanding as we pray, breathe, log, post, express on this one New Years Day, meal, bite, minute & emotion at a time! xoxox

Happy New Year! Ruhu - Enjoyed reading your journal this morning. I had wanted to comment that the thoughts in your journal did not sound like those belonging to someone weighing 120, but then I realize it is just the opposite. You weigh 120 because of that attitude. Congratulations on your commitment and wishing you continued success in 2013!

Thanks BuffyBear, but I have to admit I haven't had the courage to weigh in since the holidays. Will do so my the end of the week. Have to agree though that attitude is more important tan any number on that darn scale! Happy New Year, my friend!

Happy New Year Angel Ruth ~~ I know you'll be back on track soon. Buffy - I agree with you completely about our buddy here and that is why she is ONE of my role models here. I so hope that when I reach goal weight I'll pay attention to the five pounds so that it doesn't become 50 or 150 as it always has in the past. However, as we all have to remember (esp me right now stuck in Plateau Prison) ~~ we are more than a number on the scale. It's important to be happy and take care of ourselves.
