Thankful:
Wonderful weekend
Glad to be back from over eating – I had fun but felt constantly over stuffed and slightly off
I hit Onederland Sat morn – 199.6 - I did not record it because I knew it was going to go away – but I really think it will show up this week and never leave my life again!!!!!
OT at work will pay for our date
FS for giving me the tools to get healthier and FS buddies for egging me on!

For those of you who asked: Yes, we did start living together on the first date, unofficially. At first, I would go home (my parents house) to shower and change clothes but that ended within a few weeks. During our first year together, I slept at my parent’s house twice. Once, within the first 2 weeks. The second time, about 8 months later after a tiff. We like to joke that we are still on our first date. Hubby's sister was moving out west to move in w her BF after about 6-8 months of long distance dating. He was ranting about them going to fast. I had to remind him about our path. He paused and said - she should do as I say, not as I do!!! LOL

All and all - it worked for us - but it did make a rocky first year. Or maybe it was rocky because I am insane? :-) We shall never know!

The Feast
Olive Garden –
Sampler 3: Fried Zucchini, Fried Mozzarella & Stuffed mushrooms prepared with clams. (Only had 1 mushroom – too fishy)Smoked Mozzarella Fonduta served with Tuscan Bread: didn’t have much – almost TOO cheesy
Lasagna Fritta: SOOOOO good!
Salad and Bread Sticks
Steak Gorgonzola-Alfredo

On Sunday we went out for dessert at Cold Stone Creamery. We took the dog and gave him some Banana Ice Cream. He was SOOOO excited. Plus, we had left over’s all day. I told E I want a small dinner tonight. Back on track! :-)

glad you had a nice time. I tend to overindulge too. Why is it that I have to overeat when the food tastes so dang good?! I wish I could just "have a little" hahaha. Sometimes it's worth it!

Congratulations Jessa! Yeah, when you hit 199 you remember it forever after. It's one of the biggest milestones in your diet - maybe the first one you halfway believe is never going to happen and then when it does you can't even believe it. Congratulations!

I remember how exciting it was to glimpse Onederland, even if for a fleeting moment. But you'll see it on a daily basis shortly, I'm sure. Your anniversary dinner sounds like a feast - I hope you thoroughly enjoyed it :) Having an non-traditional start to a relationship is not as uncommon as one might think. In fact, I think that in this day and age, the traditional relationships are becoming the rarity! Congrats on sticking it out :)

Hi Jessa! Just popped over here to leave some encouraging words for you since you've been so good about popping in on my journals recently. Then once I got here WHAT did I discover? That you have left the 200's BEHIND!!!! WOOHOOO!!!! I know that feels good! For me, it will be the 170's that will be a huge milestone to leave behind! I feel like whenever I get close to 170 I do something to deliberately sabotage myself! GRRRR!!! I know I can get thru that invisible barrier! Glad to see you made it past yours! :)

Thanks Connie. I did sabotage myself yesterday. Work has been crazy. Huge and importnt project is due. I got Chicken Parm sandwiches last night. OH the guilt! But today is a new day, and I will be better!

Yes, today is a new day! Guilt won't change anything, so pat yourself on the back for every healthy choice you make TODAY!!! :-) We can keep moving downward...WE CAN!!!!

Yay for Onederland! I used to be alot bigger in college and left Onederland for a while. It's so exciting seeing that 2 turn into a 1 even if it is kinda swaying back and forth a little. Before you know it you'll be back on track and kickin butt. Way to go!

Me & my bf moved pretty quick too. He moved in like 6 months after we met. Woulda been sooner, but he had to graduate highschool first ha! October will be 4 years that we've been together. Olive Garden sounds sooo delicious right now. I've never had clams and I hateee mushrooms. I love me some Coldstone Creamery though!!
