This is very frustrating. I know I am doing well. I can feel my waist getting smaller, but my weight is staying the same. I am told I am getting better definition, so I know I must be building muscle mass, but I would still like to see the scale go down. I think maybe I need to bring my calories back down to 1800. I have been around 2000-2200, maybe that may be the next step. Time to get better at logging in my calories. Here goes the next step.

I hope you all have a great weekend. This is going to be the first weekend in a long time that I am going to be able to relax. At least for one day. See you all on Monday.

the scale cannot go down forever! my PT once told me when the scale is not showing you progress it is time to reach for a new goal! time for the next step indeed!

Use a measuring tape - mine shows more info than the scale.

The scale isn't the only factor to measure by. Keep a long term perspective, and a pound or 2 a week long term is good realistic long term goal to meet. If you're not carefully logging everything you eat I would suggest you do that, it does make a difference - that's the only way to be truly accurate in knowing calorie intake. Keep at it, have a great weekend.

Keep the positive attitude, and the scale will eventually move... :)

The scale does not tell the whole story......

1800 cals per day sounds like a good idea JD.

Good luck with the next step - as others have said scales don't give the whole picture. Have you ever thought of measuring body fat% ? I find it encouraging to know that if the percentage is going down, then the muscle mass should be going up! Enjoy your weekend.

With each step closer to our goals we must reevaluate what we are doing in order to continue to see progress & it sounds like thats your plan with the next step! :D
