I only use a scale to make sure I’m not losing weight too fast on a cut or gaining weight too fast on a bulk. The mirror and measuring tape are the tools I use to judge my actual progress.

I am trying to only weigh once a week. I have measurements taken every 2 weeks when I see nutritionist. I find those more telling. You are looking fit Super!💪

It’s not a recent photo everyone. It was late last year at 170 and 2yrs ago at 155. I just used it to make a point that it’s not all about weight.

It is not all about weight. Either way you look good! To me it's also about how you feel, if you feel better/healthier.

Very true jujugirl. How you feel and how you look cuz honestly you get so much confidence and self happiness when you like the way you look. And I find that I felt good n healthy all the way up to 193. So muscle mass plays a huge role in that. Especially when I was 180s and unhealthy in the beginning which lead me on my journey.

Thanks Super. I’m definitely not experienced in the process, but am smart enough to defer to those who are. Learning from those such as yourself, who’ve been at this for a bit, has eliminated trial and error in my own process. The formula is actually quite easy if you actually follow it. So many people make it harder than it needs to be. They add too many restrictions and variables to the process while focusing strictly on the numbers on the scale. The last thing I want to look like is a bag of bones when I’m at 12-15% body fat.

Yea most people drop weight and when they don’t like what they see they aim to go even lower. Which they should be aiming to go back up then drop back down.
I also learned from the 170 picture. I bulked to 171 or 173 dropped to 162 then bulked for a month and there the 170. Which tells me the 8lbs was mostly the muscle filling back up and I was flat at 162
