IntuitiveMe's Journal, 20 July 2011

I did pretty good today. I ate a little more than I planned and didn't exercise due to soreness and about 4 hours of sleep, but it will be fine, and maybe I will get a bit of a loss anyway.
I wish I could stop stressing out about maintenance.
The thought of having to count calories for all eternity forever and ever AMEN is what worries me. I have tried maintaining without tracking before and it didn't work. I am determined to keep it off this time, but I really feel like I need a rock solid game plan to keep me from backsliding.
I'M SCARED!!!!!! :X

Congratulations on having a pretty good day! If stressing about maintenance and counting calories is causing you to lose sleep, you are stressing way too much and way too early! Have you been weighing yourself and not recording it? Your last official weigh-in was over 10 days ago! Give yourself a break, honey. I'm not trying to minimize your feelings, but if you keep worrying like this you are going to be scared forever and ever Amen. And that is a joyless way to live and so not worth it! You are doing great! I'm sending you lots of hugs filled with sleepy dust so that you can get a really good nights sleep!

yeah I haven't recorded because it went up and I am being stubborn LOL! It was only 0.2 more than it was this morning so I'm about back on track. About stressing about maintenance, I know you are right, I just don't know how to relax and quit thinking about it. I have a fear of failure that really needs to go! But I do feel I am close enough to start planning how I will deal.

I have the same problem. If I am not losing than I am gaining. Maybe try tracking one week a month and on that week keep your calories a little lower than you would on the other weeks. Also I read that peple need to sometimes bump up their workouts a little more in maintanace mode and not slack on it. Lol, I think I will take my own advice and start logging the first week of every month and see how it goes.
