I get it too! Been fighting upper respiratory ick. Nothing tastes good so I want to keep eating. Makes no sense, but we do it anyway.

I truly understand. Around the holidays is the most difficult time for losing weight. My friend keeps bringing me baked goods so I have to be careful how much I eat and space it out. The added calories are not good. The New Year will give me a new boostfor my dieting journey. Good luck to you!!

You don't have to eat stuff just because your friends bring it. Just explain to them that you have changed your diet and that you won't be eating things like that. Don't succumb to pressure, put yourself first. otherwise you will never change or succeed.

I want to say I DO space things out as far as "extras" and am well aware of my limitations as far as higher calorie foods. If I have an "extra", I allow for it and eliminate something else so it does not interfere with my losing weight goals. I have suceeded in losing 20 lbs in 3 months and continue to lose, not hitting a a snag yet! :) Slow and steady is the name of my game lol. :) Good luck to everyone.
