well well well...

HELLO FS BEAUTIES! :) today has been great... mostly because last night i got a gym membership at the brand new Lifestyle Family Fitness near our house. it is a gorgeous gym.. and much MUCH cheaper (ironically) than the dirty old YMCA that i was a member of in the recent past. (the Y wanted to up my membership from $28/mo to $65/mo because my kids "per policy" had to be members. a six month old and a two year old for CRYING OUT LOUD.)
anyway, as you can see i'm still salty about that one. but HEY this new gym is amazing. i've already been twice. i really think it's going to help shed the lbs because now i can strength train as well as get my runs in. WOO-HOO!! mixing it up is key.. .workouts can get really boring.
My hubbs (Daniel) is being very supportive of my exercise and weight loss regime which is great. in the past it has been difficult for him because he genuinely doesn't mind some extra lbs. on my frame. (awwwWW, right?) it's funny that i wanted a husband who loved me for me and didn't care what i looked like (and i got him!) yet now that i'm losing weight i want him to make a big deal out of it.
women are crazy. oh well it's the way we're made.

LOVE TO YOU ALL!

My husband is the same! I'm very lucky (and so is he!) to find someone who does not base his affection on the way I look. I love that he loves me for me, but when I don't feel like working out, I wish he'd push me to. He's totally supportive, though, and I think he is a bit inspired by my attempt to become healthier. I caught him running the other day. Hmmm...

I love that your husband is supportive. : ) And I would HOPE he didn't mind the little extra! But I'm glad that it sounds you're doing it for yourself and not because HE forced you to. That's the way to go! Yay for new, cheaper gym!
