Great meeting at tops last night. very informational. lost 2 more pounds. Im tired of 2. I dont know what else to do to change it, other than do more of what Im already doing. After the meeting last night, I decided to have a piece of thin crust pizza and 4 wings from Pizza Hut. I havent eaten that stuff since December. It wasnt even that good, but I have heard that sometimes you can reset your metabolism by eating something different that youre not supposed to eat. So, we will see. I still stayed under 1200 for the day, but it only took one meal!! Thats how I know its not healthy!! I made the conscious decision to do that, so lets see if it works. Today I will be eating 500 calories or less. I did swim a complete mile 2 days ago at the gym,. and I will do it again tonight. I dont think I will be doing less than that anymore. I guess if it takes me 2 pounds a week to get to my goal, I will take it. Im certainly not going to get down on myself for it. I know what Im doing. I am looking forward to some time off this weekend to spend it with my family. Next week the girls go back to school, and back to schedules. I think Im ready for that though.

2 lbs is average and it's better than gaining 2 lbs, right? Slim4Life uses beef and oranges for a plateau breaker. All the beef and green veggies you can eat for 3 days. Breakfast is 2 eggs anyway but fried, and greens. No starches or fats for these 3 days, then back to your normal weight loss plan. It's hard for me to get in a lot of beef with my lap band, so I have to spread it out throughout the day. Good luck girl!

Terra, Hope you are having a great day. I had gastric bypass 14 years ago, and it isnt effective anymore. I have never eaten beef really much after that. And, I certainly havent had it in the last 7 months. it just isnt good to me anymore. I havent heard much of this slim4life diet, but I am going to learn more. Talk to you soon!!

Good job on the 2 pounds. You guys are lucky, all I had to do was have a baby and half my favorite foods, like white pasta, hate me. Beef is one of the few things that I still eat but I raise my own cow and try not to have it more than once a week.

PaulaCollette: I understand. Many people just can't eat beef. With my lap band, steak is easier to swallow than chicken or turkey. I love fresh tuna and swordfish but it is so dense I can only get 3 or 4 bites in but I'm ok with it. I get 3 or 4 meals from 1 steak LOL!

Kathy: Hi! I am SO envious of raising your own beef!! When I lived in Oklahoma I use to buy a whole or half beef from the local butcher and I knew where the cattle raised and what they were fed. I hope to get back to fresh beef very soon. It's in my future plans anyway :-) Slim4Life is much like the old "Quick Weight Loss Center" program that was around in the 90's... 4 fresh vegetables, 2 fruits, 2 proteins and 1 fat/oil daily, and 1/4 cup milk or non-fat cottage cheese; plus 2 of their protein snacks a day and a handfull of supplements 20 minutes before each meal. The supplements consist of 1 metabolizer, 3 EFA's and 1 starch/sugar blocker. It works. I just had to get motivated and back on my routine.
