HI BEEN A VERY BUSY FEW DAYS, SOME GOOD, SOME BAD.

GOOD THINGS

{1} My Son Keith (#4) got engaged on Sunday. Been so busy with people calling and phoning, emailing, txting, facebooking, seems at times Im replying to 3 people at the one time. Went for a drink in Louise's parent's house Sunday, (her poor mum has sciatica),Dinner there on Friday Night. Louise cooking,She's been going out with Keith 11 yrs irst time she's cooked dinner. Yesterday was busy trying to find venue for proper engagement party.

{2} I had won a voucher to get my hair done, and I was invited to a fashion show by Peter Marks the Hairdressing Salon on Tuesday night, It was brill, they did a BEFORE & AFTER Presentation. They took 4 people, restyled, recoloured their hair, applied fab light make-up and lovely clothes, all with in the price range of the NORMAL wage packet.
It was a full buffet but I had my dinner b4 I went and only had a Glass half of wine, small glass's. We meet with Top Stylist in Ireland, he gave us all advice. The salon I choose to spend my voucher in wanted me to get a full colour and low lights, I really did not want this, Even at 51 yrs old I still have a very thick head of hair, half way down my back, layered, my own colour, only tiny bit grey at sides, the girl in this salon was shocked they wanted full colour as I dont need it, so advised a good cut, little off lenght, grey masked, even gave me the proper colour for it. Top Stylist agreed with hair, saying people would kill for my quality and quantity of hair,So getting it done in that salon on Friday. Also won a full makeup session there. My luck def in.

BEST NEWS

Down 4 HONEST lbs, I've really kept to food intake exc for wine on Sunday night. Exercise the same need to pick it up a bit and add more on.

AND I GOT MY PUP. A mix between a Labrador/Alsation. Black and white, 9 wks old, actually looks like a Collie, seems to have a very gentle lazy nature, is the runt of the litter. I've always loved the runts as they are more loving and gentle.

BAD NEWS

2 of my sons in plaster
.

Kristofor (#5) hurt his leg on 21 August, was very painful but did nothing, my lads have a high threshold, like me, and have to be in totally unhuman pain before they feel it, but last week he felt it "click" as he said and was in agony, BROKEN, since 21st,so he's in plaster. Kory (#8) did a Karake Punch with his right hand, showing off, fractured his hand, waiting to see specialist Monday. but he cant write for a while. Back school tomorrow, hospital gave him 4 tabs yesterday together for pain and inflamamation but he felt very unwell on them.

Thats all my news. Hope all out there well.

Boys eh? We had the Teenager in plaster when he was 2-and-a-bit after landing off balance jumping off a wall. As we left the hospital, the nurse said "See you later"; "I hope not!"; "After we see a boy with his first break, they tend to come back"! Luckily not this kid: other than a broken collar bone aged 5, he's been fine. __________________ Yes, please we definitely want before and after photos: what a fantastic week you've had between the engagement, and the loss and winning the make-over. I'm so envious of your hair (I started colouring in my 30's right after I had the Teenager... hmmm....) and good call on the refusal to get a full colour. ____________ What a great mix: lab' and german shepherd; both very intelligent dogs. He'll grow big though? Again, we need pic's!

Yes He'll grow big. Took a photo today of Buster, never got hair done, We, bright Sparks that we are, forgot that noone was at home to mind him. But little sacrifices for him, truly lovely pup and already not crying at night, will give you a warning when he needs to go out. I think he must be very bright as I think thats very young to do that. I'll get a photo up soon of my hair. My son just passed in beautiful photo of the 3 daughter in laws and mysel. My hair a bit shorter in this. Hope all of you doing great. I'm been busy doing a "Spring Clean" of house. It amazes me the amount of junk collected in few weeks. I'm not the best of house keepers
