Blah day, weather is rainy and gloomy and I'm not feeling all that great. Had a bad stomach last night that I am blaming on McDonald's (which also got hubby and daughter) and it has kind of carried over into today. On the upside, we won't be going to McDonald's any time soon, just have to not be so lazy on Sunday afternoon.
It's been a while since I logged food on the weekend, so I thought I would start this weekend and it was as bad as I thought. I usually have a good dinner plan for the week, so I know what I'm going to make when I get home from work, but fly by the seat of my pants on the weekend. That's not working to get my family eating healthy, so now I know I need to make a plan for the weekend too.
Bloated and retaining some water from the weekend of bad food, so I need to clean it up and get that feeling to go away. Also wore my brown dress pants which are a bit snug and are getting tighter as the day goes on. Can't wait until I can comfortably sit all day in these, just thought 4 months ago I couldn't button them though. . .

I don't even like to eat fast food any more because I know it's going to make me feel terrible, but get a pizza and I can eat on that like crazy. I didn't record over the weekend, but I watched what I ate more and didn't snack as much and it made a huge difference in how I felt. I usually try to buy enough meals for the week to get us through Saturday night because I know if I don't make it for groceries Saturday I'll have to go Sunday. That has worked wonders because we haven't eaten out in a while, and I'm cheap so if the meals are there to be made we'll eat them. Now if I can just remember to eat healthy for breakfast and lunch on the weekends and not snack so much I'll be doing great. We can get this weekend thing under control!
