Whoo-hoo!!!! Fit Test for Insanity, number 2. Results as follows with previous test's results in parenthesis:

Switch kicks 128 (110)
Power Jacks 60 (39)
Power Knees 86 (68)
Power Jumps 44 (29)
Globe Jumps 11 (05)
Suicide Jumps 14 (12)
Push-up Jacks 25 (19)
Low Plank Oblique 38 (25)

I'm happy with the results. This is Day 14. Body Fat percentage down .6%, lost 1/2" in chest, 1/4" in waist, 1" in hips, 1/2" in thighs and 1/4" in forearms - the rest of the measurements stayed the same. I think I'd like it if I lost an additional 2" from each body part (except the chest...don't want to lose more there! :) and get my body fat percentage down from the 22.4 (according to bodybugg---seems a little low to me, but I'll take it!) to 17% to see if I can also lose any remaining belly fat. Would LOVE to lose the bulk of it from my thighs and flanks, though.

Burned only about 180 calories for the fit test, but wow, is it intense. Go full on for one minute for each exercise with a 30 second or so break in between...maybe a bit more as he demonstrates each move to make sure your form is correct.

Will do Slim in 6 in a bit...feeling a bit drained. :)

Ok...later after a bit of food and more fluids, I did the Slim in 6, think I burned only about 400 calories between the two workouts. But okay, I guess. Then I cleaned the floors to add steps and get more activity in. Hopefully burn at least 2350 today...

OMG how do you do all this. Wow! Good for you! When do you exercise, AM or PM? The only time I would have is between 5 PM and 10 PM. Don't want to exercise too late or I won't sleep. At 5 PM I am getting dinner, eating, etc for a couple hours. So that leaves 7-9 PM. By then I am exhausted. Hence, no exercise. Can't do it in the AM as I get up at 4:30 AM now. I absolutely refuse to get up earlier ~ LOL Soooo, I just move along losing my 0.4 or 0.6 oz per week. It's still a loss, right? Have a good evening RWL.

I don't work! :) I have time on my hands and no excuse -kids both in college, hubby a workaholic...I've got time! I would guess the only way you could work out with your schedule would be to come home, have a quick snack, like 100 - 200 calories, start dinner prep, then do your workout, then make dinner...sounds exhausting! But the thing is, once you ARE exercising, you get so much MORE energy for your day to day life. No chance of working out at work? (I certainly couldn't - I'd need a shower, blow dryer, straightener, lotion, make-up... :) but some do it) But as you said --- a loss IS a loss! We have the rest of our lives :)

:) Sorry...I haven't had time to sit and collect my thoughts long enough yet...SO much to write! Do you think if the two of us were in a room together, we'd HEAR each other?? LOL! I'll try to get to it soon. Gotta think of something to feed the hubby. And me, but I'm in the mood for a glass of wine, too, so it better be light. Soup? Sounds not so good to me when it's over 100!

Hi Lisa! Yes, no doubt the energy level is a result of the exercise! It's amazing, I've NEVER been this way before in my life. Thanks for the kudos. The 11 to do is an estimate. I may have to reassess from there, but I know I'd be very happy to be 125, too! :)

I thought I commented on this yesterday, must have forgotten to click submit. Anyway, I like the bodybugg and have been thinking about it for a while, I imagine it's what let's you know exactly how much you are burning with each exercise. Great job redwinelover!

Oh, hi Info... yeah, I LOVE the bodybugg. I think it's the best tool for keeping on track (along with this site and my buddies!)and keeping me motivated to exercise when I don't really feel like it. I also really appreciate having the digital display (the watch, basically) so I can see how much I burn for each activity. The only downside is the bodybugg isn't waterproof. I don't think it's even possible to make a waterproof one since it relies on sensors next to the skin. And the funky tan line, since supposedly the most accurate results are when you wear it on the upper left arm with the sensor facing toward the back/side. Oh well, I love it and think it's pretty accurate. Thanks, Info!

How much was that bodybugg? And where did you buy it? Your improvement in measurements and test results is impressive!

Hi Andrea, I think the bodybugg runs about $200 plus and additional amount for the digital display. Not cheap, but it's been a great tool! Hi Info! Got your message...Info just sounds less formal than spelling it all out! :)
