OK! I'm back this time, and hopefully no more problems. I've missed reading your journals, I'm going to try to catch up a bit tonight.

I'm wondering if I am going to have to be hungry the rest of my life. It's the only way I can lose weight. I'm so determined to lose it that I don't care right now, but at some point it would be nice to eat more than 1000 calories a day, and maybe have an apple or a sandwich here and there.

I went to the chiropractor today and my doctor walked right past me and just nodded and sort of half-smiled. I've been seeing him for 10 years, he's always really friendly. Turns out he didn't recognize me! That felt really good. Still not drinking, and I'm surviving without my wine. I'm going to have some this weekend though, this is no way to live forever.

New pic is from Monday evening. I cropped my dad out but the full pic of us is so good I had it printed and framed. Wow, I actually like photos of myself, that's new.

Oh, one more thing...I made mashed celery root last night with butter and OMG it was so good. I had it in a restaurant the other night and I had to have it. It's only 8 grams of carb in a 3/4 c serving, compared to mashed potatoes which have 27 grms. It felt like I was having some comfort food for a change.

Love the new picture and welcome back! I so hear you on having to be hungry the rest of our life, that seems to be the only time I lose. As for the wine, I have tried both ways and it makes no difference in my weight lost. (Maybe that's not completely true because it does lower my ability to say NO to snacking after dinner). It does make a huge difference in my sleeping. I keep telling myself I should not be hungry eating low carb, but I am, why?

Love your hair color! YOU CAN DO IT, I was just thinking the same things. I was hungry the last few days, then I realized, it is only for half a year more, and not a life time, I HOPE! You can do it!!!!! Welcome back, I sent FS a message you were out again and asked them to let our buddy back in!

@Bella...I bought the celery root at Sprouts Farmers Market, peeled it, cubed it, boiled it mashed it with some butter, salt, and cream. YUMMMMMM @2....I'm avoiding wine during the week, it seems to be making a difference. If I eat more, I'm not hungry but don't lose. I wish I knew the answer. @Lizzy...sometimes it feels like it will be forever. I never change my hair color, I guess the light makes it look different. I love the new picture. You look great. I have never had celery root. Sounds delicious. I do cauliflower or kohlrabi for fake mashed potatoes. 1 may need to try 1000calories.....1200 isn t doing much over here.
