Finally back to my pre-Thanksgiving weight. And if the three weeks that it took to undo 5 days worth of binging isn't motivation enough to avoid the temptation over Christmas, nothing is.
Granted, TOM stalled me for a week but either way. I am ready to be out of the 180's and in to the 170's and I'm never going to get there if I don't just stay on plan.

I'm considering doing 3 days of an Atkins Fat Fast next week. My knee is slowly getting better and I'm ready to add exercise and jogging.

It's funny, my motto used to be, "I only run if being chased." but last year when I was running I enjoyed it and it helped a lot with my anxiety levels. I really want to start doing it again.

Ain't that the truth! It's amazing how long it takes to undo little mistakes.

I still have 5 more pounds to go to get back to pre-thanksgiving. Once I messed up, I just couldnt pull it back together and have yo-yoing since. Glad to hear you're back on track! We have amazing food choices on low carb and its not worth eating off plan. Just hope I can stick to it. lol. Let me know how the fat fast goes for you. I am gonna be doing intermittent fasting the next few weeks.

Good lord Christie, with the sheer amount of stress that you're under, I understand completely. We do have really amazing food choices which is a blessing really. Get past your finals and I have a feeling you'll be back on track and motivated. I have to devote a certain amount of my energy to planning food and dieting, if I'm under a lot of stress, I have a hard time finding that energy. Maybe it's the same for you?

Congrats Toni! Isn't it a great feeling to know that you've gotten back on track? Now your mindset is great for coming up on Christmas. You know that if you cheat that you'll be back to the same situation all over again which is something I'm sure you don't want. You've done such a great job of getting back on track. TOM...evil TOM likes to mess with us but you have power over that to some extent too, thank goodness! Let me know how the Atkins Fat Fast goes for you. I wish I could join you.
