I used to mod the most popular low carb forum here until a tick bite and subsequent meat allergy made it impossible for me to continue eating meat.
I've been fatsecret member since 2007 and I've seen a lot of diet fads and trends come and go.
At the end of the day, the best diet is the one you can stick with. And there is no magic bullet, it's always going to come down to burning more calories than you take in.
Accountability in all things always.
Diet is more than what you put in your mouth, it's everything you put into your head.

I disagree, I always see really good results with Atkins - but it has to be done correctly. Your food diary isn't available so without that, here are my suggestions.
Are you getting enough veggie carbs? You should be getting at least 12 - 15 of your net carbs from vegetables.
What about your sodium? The recommended RDA is 2400. If you're eating a lot more than that, it might be water weight that you're holding onto.
And lastly, how much water are you taking in a day? The recommendation is half of your body weight in ounces.
Also, you really should be tracking your food by inputting into your food diary and weighing or measuring everything that you put into your mouth.

Fat fast
There's a really great group that I belong to called Low Carb Daily Check In.
Several members, (myself included), did the fat fast and posted about it, along with what each of us ate during it.

Also, is your peanut butter sugar free? It might not be a bad idea to try cutting that out. Also, how much water are you drinking? I cannot stress enough how important water is to the process.

Okay, so this is TOTALLY unrelated to weight loss, but I found it interesting..
I'm an INFJ, (the Counselor), too. My fiancee is an ENTP (the Engineer) and my daughter is an ESFP, (the Performer), there are several really good books to break this down even more specifically.
