Start Weight:(04 Mar 13) 222.4 lb
Current Weight:(16 May 13) 226.8 lb
Goal Weight:199.0 lb
following: Atkins
performance: gaining 1.3 lb a week

I am tired of starting over, I need to find the willpower and strength to stop giving up!!

Started Atkins: July 2010 (lost 50 pounds by August 29, 2010)
Re-Start # 1: January 3, 2012 (222.2 lbs)
Re-Start # 2: August 28, 2012 (206.0 lbs)
Re-Start # 3: November 26, 2012 (188.8 lbs)
Re-Start # 4: March 21, 2013 (222.4 lbs)

Mini Goal #1: 199.9 {}
Mini Goal #2: 189.9 {}
Mini Goal #3: 174.6 {}
Mini Goal #4: 165.6 {}
Mini Goal #5: 155.6
Mini Goal #6: 145.6
Ultimate Goal: 135.6

My biggest goal is getting into the healthy weight range for my height (max:146 pounds) and giving myself an extra 10 pounds of wiggle room at 135 so that I can make sure I don't end up in that overweight category ever again! If I can get lower than 135, that would be awesome!

Stevia
I tried to like Stevia, but no matter how many times I tried it (liquid and granulated) I had to throw everything I made with it away. It just wasnt good.

I like to mix splenda and swerve together, the swerve and stevia tastes MUCH better than just stevia but it still doesnt have that sugar taste for me. I went back to Splenda, I figure that if I am eating healthy stuff most of the time, one questionable item wont kill me.

The secret of Carbs
It also depends on what dietitian/nutritionist you're talking to and what they personally believe. I went to one who advocates the low carb approach and says low fat is the wrong way to go. She also explained how fat is used for energy when you can get the useless carbs out of the body. Vegetables and fruits have carbs so you can get useful carbs from those. When I do low carb, I wake up alert and have crazy amounts of energy.

Trying to figure out how to make Chobani's yogurt taste better.
If you take cherry pomegranate crystal light and mix some into greek yogurt... it tastes like cherry laffy taffy

If you take Hawaiian Punch grape, it tastes like grape laffy taffy

Any of the powdered drink mixes we have tried taste great mixed into greek yogurt... it gets rid of that sour taste. My husband uses it in smoothies with fruit but the crystal light is quick and easy and so many different flavors.

THANKSGIVING healthy tweaks to traditional favorites?
low carb cornbread recipe to use in stuffing/dressing

Chicken Lady's Golden Corn Bread (http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lowcarb-recipe-help-suggestions/647733-golden-corn-bread-lower-carbed-pic.html)

3 cups-(12ounces) almond flour (honeyville)
2/3 cup-(3-1/2ounces) cornmeal (Bobs Red Mill)
1/3 cup Splenda
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1/4 cup oil (I use melted coconut oil)
1 cup milk (3/4 almond milk + 1/4 cup heavy cream)

Put a cast iron skillet into the oven and preheat the oven and the skillet to 425°

Mix the dry ingredients together, make a well in the middle. Add oil, eggs, and milk in the well and mix with a wire whisk. Allow to stand for 5 minutes to give the ingredients time to hydrate.

Take the hot skillet out of the oven and place it on the stove over high heat. Put just enough oil in the skillet to swish it around good and heat the oil.

Pour the batter into the hot pan and place it in the oven and bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
This is my tweaked version, I linked the original recipe so you can also read through and see what other people have said and changed. I dont have cast iron so I make it in muffins tins. It would be easy to cube and toast it in the oven. Rather than grinding my own popcorn, I used Bobs Red Mill cornmeal, there are a few different ones, I picked the ones with the lowest carbs per serving.
