My lesson from yesterday is that a strong person is defined as surviving through whatever life throws in your direction.
So yesterday turned into a good day. Got up way too early and had to keep myself busy so that I did not go back to sleep. Met up with my mom and then went to see my brother. He amazes me and inspires me! He has come so far and is doing so well at the group home. They have not only been working with increasing his mobility but also his speach as well. I did not think the little bugger would ever shut up at all. It was fun though and made me so proud of him!
Anyways after our visit mom and I went shopping. Another new experience, amazingly after all these years I feel like we have a friendship! She bought me a new pair of tights since I was complaining about how cold I was. I told her over and over again that she did not need to buy me anything, but that was an argument that obviously fell on deaf ears. We also toured through the bulk barn too. One of these days I will learn to stop buying my dark chocolate as it creates a whicked headache but tastes so damn good. Boo hoo!! Lol
I finally made it home around 5. And had company shortly after that, so thank goodness I did most of my stuff in the morning.
Today however I do not have a whole lot to do so I am lounging right now in my pj's.. Lol
