Have you ever found a treat that you ate as a kid and thought they tasted so good?
Well I did they were black licorice cigars, I used to eat them all the time with my dad. Somehow these ones just did not taste as yummy as I remembered. When I asked my mom about them her response was of course they didn't, the ones you ate years ago you stole off your dad and that was what made them so yummy. Lol
This time of year makes me think about my dad a lot, he was a huge Christmas buff. Since his passing mom has toned down on the decorating a lot, but still puts up dad4 favourites in honor of him.

Anyways here's a snap shot of my amaze me errands I ran yesterday. Okay it was a late start thanks to being kidnapped by my book. I caught the bus at 3:50, got a transfer which is given for 90 mins. Went downdaown hit all three of my planned stops, caught another bus went to mom's for a short visit, then hopped the bus home. The amazing part is that I did it on one tranfer. I was just bogging around. After I got home it was grocery shopping so out again. Then company again all night.

Today however plans have not been made as of yet.

Hope everyone has a fruitful friday.

Grateful for:
Family
My BB which keeps me connected
Good books
Memories of loved ones passed
Coffee!
And as always FS, journalling and buddies

Aww I used to love that candy, too! I am beginning to think a chunk of my funk is that in the back of my mind I keep thinking about my mom. One day at a time, I guess. Glad you kept pretty busy yesterday, though! Proud of ya! Have great weekend!

Thanks Nat! My philosophy is that love ones may be physically gone but they are spiritually always with us! Have a good weekend too.
