I am 41 and live in the UK. I have been at both ends of the scale now, fat as a child, anorexic in my late teens and obese in my 30s and everywhere in between (my weight has spanned 40kgs (88 pounds) to 113kgs (249 pounds) in the last twenty years). Now I am ready to lose weight in a healthy way.....no more extremes just a nice happy medium....

Weight - 74kgs (nearly there even with major upheavals during the year)
Total weight lost in 2012 - 7.6kgs
Aim for 2013 - still to reach 72kgs and then loss a little more to get to a comfy size UK12.
