I googled all night yesterday about exercises, in fact the best exercises to do to lose weight. Cardio and/or weight lifting, which one first, how long of each etc... I got very mixed up. Anybody knows a good site?

I find it hard to combine weights with cardio, so I do Jorge Cruise's '8 mins in the morning' of strength training, which allows me to get it in so I can focus on cardio. I prefer the books to the website, but the site is www.jorgecruise.com. Not sure if that helps, but its the only thing I've figured out on the topic!

Well, a combination of both is the best way to lose weight. Maybe do strength training 3x a week and cardio 3 or 4 times a week. Some DVD's combine them. It depends on what you enjoy. If you are just starting, start slowly. Interval training can also be very good. That's where you might get on the treadmill for 10 minutes, then do some weights. Then do 10 more minutes, and more weights. There's so many options. Do what you enjoy and feels right to you. Good luck!

I am mixing it up as well. I do walking videos 3 or 4 times a week: Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds Express (1, 2, 3, & 4 mile workouts). Alternate days I do a little weight lifting and floor exercises. Occasionally I do Qi Gong instead of the floor exercises. I think it's good to do cardio on alternate days between weight bearing/strengthening/conditioning.
