well started off great and went a little overboard tonight
bfast: protein smoothie
lunch: okonomikyaki
snack: ~1 serving carrots w/ 2 servings cilantro jalapeno hummus
snack: .25 oz pistachios, 1/2 chicken nugget, 1T sunflower seeds, large latte w/ almond milk and 2%milk
dinner: 6.8oz steak, 1T steak sauce (only bc the steak was overcooked), 1/2 large sweet potato with butter and whole grain dijon mustard), 1C spring mix w/ cucumber, red bell pepper, onions and homemade carrot ginger dressing
dessert: 1/2 mint chocolate cliff bar
1 lactation tea
already finished 72oz of water and working on another 24... will def finish before bed = 96oz for the day
so even though I over did it tonight, I did manage to avoid any wine which i really really really b/c it has been a stressful evening

Wow - look at that.
I had one less snack than normal yesterday and a mega smoothie instead of my normal lunch. But I did have a full glass of wine with dinner. All ended in a net loss. :)
Meanwhile, yesterday I didn't feel like I was dieting at all. I might more mega smoothies for lunch this week.
Goal for today- Find my FitBit and charge it!

7/24
bfast - coffee with almond milk & >1/2 of 2%milk & 2 fried eggs
snack .25oz pistachios
lunch - large smoothie - broccoli, beets, mixed berries, mango, tumeric, ginger
broccoli and carrots with 2-2.5 servings of cilantro jalapeno hummus
dinner - homemade Okonomiyaki - japanese cabbage based omelette with a drizzle of a special sweet dark sauce - cooked with onion, mushroom, zucchini, red bell pepper
1 C spring mix with homemade carrot ginger dressing
4 oz of white with
72 oz of water
1 lactation tea
I'm interested to see what my weight is tomorrow.

7/23
bfast - protein smoothie
snack - 1 serving target organic white cheddar popcorn
lunch - small chix salad (same as salad from dinner on 7/22)
snack - large palmful of bacon bits and fried jalapenos (i wanted to eat my face off - tried to find high flavor crunchy foods to satisfy my cravings)
latte with almond milk and 2% milk (less than 1/2 reg milk)
dinner - 1.5 serving chix quinoa casserole over bed of 1C spring mix
(chix, black beans, corn (picked some out) mushroom, onions, bell pepper, greek yogurt w/ 1/2 pkt ranch seasoning mix, 1/2 can chipotle peppers - all mixed together and topped with cheese.
3-4 oz of red wine
1 lactation tea
~85oz of water all day
****did not take 1T of apple cider vinegar before dinner like I should have - need to do that in the future before eating grains, etc

I don't believe the scale! I can't believe the dramatic loss - and two big losses in one week!
The last two days (just b/c, no reason) I haven't had any steal cut oatmeal or quinoa. And yesterday, I didn't have my normal fruit plate with dinner (kiwi and grapefruit). I wonder if that has something to do with the weight loss.
My salad that I had for dinner last night was ahhhmazing! I keep thinking about it. I think I'll have it again today for lunch. :)
I mentally prepping myself for the scaled to go back up a little before it goes back down again. I just can't believe I'd have 2 dramatic jumps in one week.
2 big weekends coming up in August
Aug 12 - frineds visiting for the weekend. I forsee lots of wine and champagane and cheese
Aug 29 - same friends wedding weekend in Maine - making a 4 day weekend out of it. Regular vacation struggles plus all the wedding festivities to take in account. There is even a booze cruise Sunday night.
will work on a plan to share in the celebrations but not derail my efforts.
