Oh, well HELLO OCTOBER. Way to sneak up on me out of nowhere.
Went to the gym on Tuesday because I realized I haven't exercised in, oh, I dunno, MONTHS. I've noticed that my body actually feels really crappy when I don't work out regularly. My muscles get achy for movement and I constantly have to get up and stretch and get my blood flowing. It's much better when I work out a couple of times a week. So it's time to get back into a routine.
My workout on Tuesday was rough, of course. But it felt good. It was a combo cardio/strength class and it kicked my flabby little butt. I've been sore for two days now... but I like it. It's a good soreness. I'm going to go again tonight.
I'll have to see how the whole gym schedule will work out because I've also signed up for Ballroom Dancing lessons a couple of times each week. I'm SO EXCITED to get back into that! Oh AAAAAND I actually took a Yoga class all last month and loved it, so I think I'm going to get a Yoga dvd and do that at home. So many ambitions, so little time!

Been majorly slacking lately. Have also been majorly snacking lately. Slacking and snacking is NOT a good combination, believe me.
So I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Went for a bit of a run on Monday: 5 min warmup, 15 min run, 10 min walk. Nothing to brag about, but I was up and moving. Wednesday I ran again: 5 min walk, 20 min run, 5 min walk. Better! I'd like to go for a run tomorrow morning if I can...
No.
Not good enough.
I WILL go for a run tomorrow morning. I WILL.
So let it be written, so let it be done!

WHOOOOO totally rocked a new bikini at the beach? THIS GIRL!
I originally told myself I'd get a new bikini when I hit my goal of 125. But 128 is just so darn close, and I was going to the beach for a week, so I caved in early. And let me tell you- I felt awesome in it. I'll admit I'm no skinny minny, but at least I didn't feel like I had to constantly suck in my gut or hide behind a coverup the whole time. I lost 12 lbs of fat and gained about a million lbs of confidence. BOOYAH.

HOLY SALADBAR, I'M DEFINITELY IN THE 120s! Weighed myself yesterday morning and what did that sassy little scale say? 128!
That means
I've lost 12 lbs since January!
Now I wish I had taken "before" pictures because I really can't remember what I looked like then compared to now. I must have had a serious gut!
