I have a friend who is also on a weight loss journey. She's very close to her goal weight and is HUNGRY to lose those last few kilograms. I'm so happy for her because she deserves the joy. But we're not the same people and I need to STOP including myself in HER journey. I need to STOP comparing myself to others. She needed to lose like 8 kilos. I need to lose like 60. She's so driven and extreme, it's quite triggering to me. She cuts out total food groups and actually loses weight in the process. I don't want to cut out food groups. I don't want to kill myself over a treadmill excessively exercising and throwing every overboard to lose another kilo. If I've learnt anything in life, your lifestyle is what is sustainable. Change your lifestyle, not your food groups. That said, my lifestyle this week has been superkak. I've eaten shit. I have not prioritized exercise or water intake I just feel bleh. :( I will try to work on myself this weekend. Meditation, walking, weights, and nutritious food are on the to-do list. Being good to myself starts with doing stuff for ME.

Today I feel very fat and huge. The scale is not moving downwards any longer... For the past 3 days, I've been gaining. :( I know I can do better with my diet and water. Perhaps something I will focus on from here on.

Today, I start 13 weeks to a leaner me self-challenge. In 13 weeks we're going to Thailand!!! I'm beyond excited and it feels a bit unreal - like it might not happen - but it's definitely happening because we're purchasing the flights today! I need to start working on my fitness because we will be walking A LOT and I need to up my walking game. Last week I took a break from walking because I had Sinusitis. Still not feeling 100% but I want to get better. I think diary might make my sinus allergies worse. And wheat/yeast is doing damage to my tummy. So from this week I am cutting out wheat & diary. That means no cheese on provita snackies.

I've officially lost 10kg!!! Very happy. I didn't think I would ever be able say - I've lost 10kg - again in my life! I did it! It took 12 weeks. Slow but I'm here. I had a bit of help. I'm currently taking Ozempic. It has significantly controlled my binge-eating disorder. I don't have insane binges anymore. HOWEVER... I am sick most of the time. Nausea, acid reflux, sulphuric burps, constipation or/and diarrhea. This week alone has been terrible - I've vomited most days, tried to pass cement-like stools and almost shat myself from diarrhea. It's not normal. I pray it gets better because at this point I'm too scared to eat anything. I still have 58kg to lose before I'm at goal weight.
