Tomorrow I start my journey (I've actually already started - IF) doing Keto with intermittent fasting. I have all the food, ready to be heated, all I have to do is to follow the instructions. I've eaten filthy the past few weeks. Actually past 4 months. I did insane things to get into a wedding dress. 5kg gain doesn't mean anything to me anymore. But I can feel my body taking strain and my heart is battling the fat. Tomorrow is weigh and measure day. Time to get some sleep in.

Wowzers! I weighed myself this morning. TBH, I actually don't think or feel the devastation of that weight gain. Anyway, I completed my first challenge- 16:8 fast. I'm stuck in meetings till 2:30pm. I'll break my fast at 1:30pm with coffee, collagen and Almond milk! Yummy. For lunch I will have beef broth, konjac noodles and a boiled egg. Dinner will be a frozen dinner + veggies.

I took a sick day today. My body is busy yelling signs of neglect to me. I suspect my body is full of inflammation. I feel 78 instead of 32. I can't even remember what feeling young and fit feels like. I'm on strong antibiotics to fight a sinus infection. You can clearly see I'm not healthy. I am walking like a penguin, I look unhappy, mentally I'm depressed. I don't know where to even begin to heal myself. 😪☹ I've never been this fat in my life.

I'm really struggling with the healthy eating, making good food choices and actually making an effort to be healthier! Right now, I'm at war with myself. And destructive Jeanelle is winning so far 😓

Today I start with my own challenge. I've gone Keto, but I've had plenty of cheat days. I snack mindlessly, eventually leading to Binge-eating. No more! From today, I aim for 1200 calories per day, 2.5L water, 5 days exercise a week. No hard muscle building exercise, just cardio. Earlier this year I had a personal trainer, followed VARIOUS diets and only gained muscle. Very demotivating! Let's change shit up.
