This recipe has possibilities for endless variations. Wrap the loaf before baking, with strips of turkey bacon, or add a couple boiled(and cooled and peeled) eggs to the ground meat and season with sage and celery salt. Sprinkle with paprika and crushed rosemary before baking. Or add green olives to the ground meat with oregano and garlic and shape, bake, allow to cool, and slice into luncheon meat.

great loaf i put vrggies chopped to get more filler in it
It was horrible, unless the amounts are wrong cause it was too strong with the pepper?

I added red bell peppers and chopped onion. It was surprisingly good! I hardly even use beef anynmore for anything.

We thought it was horrible as well. Too spicy and I like spicy. I like the idea of the egg or bacon. May be willing to give it another shot.
