ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES:

Fri, Sept 23rd...had my meeting with the job people. I took the job and start on Tuesday October 11th. Hubby is not at all worried about the time apart - so maybe I'm worrying about it unnecessarily. Went to the grocery and had skyline chili for dinner, make it with re-fried beans, ww pasta, cheddar cheese and lf natural sour cream. We went to the local football high school game...

Sat, Sept 24th...Spent the majority of the day at the fire department. Hubby had a training burn on propane tanks. I took pictures all day. Saturday night was GIRLS MOVIE NIGHT. Did fairly well with not eating alot of junk. FOOD: shake in the am, 2 squares of pizza and a coke for lunch, dinner was 1 and 1/2 apples with/caramel, popcorn, 1 miniature 3 musketeers and a root beer float (1.5 scoops of ice cream)

Sun, Sept 25th...Shake in the am, church and then to the father in laws for an auction at his house. was there till 5ish...came home and make apple pie shakes (apple sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter bits).

Mon, Sept 26th...hubby went to show houses to 3 different sets of people. worked at home doing laundry, picking up and what not. Went to a 31 party and ordered a lunch tote for the new job. had 2 pepperoni with cream cheese, 10 chips with salsa and 2 cookies. Went home and made pumpkin shakes...yummy.

These shakes are by "Body by VI"...these are meal replacement shakes. They are nutritionally complete and teach proper portion control. Hubby and I are both doing them. It is a 90 day program to lose about 20-25 pounds.

Had a pumpkin shake today. Back today volunteering with the city - trying to wrap up a couple of projects. Sad next couple of weeks for me.

Off to catch up on journals...have a wonderful fs day

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES....

Monday, Sept 19th...do not remember what I did for dinner...its sad that I cannot remember back 4 days...haha

Wednesday, Sept 21st...long day - started with a meeting at the port authority that was beyond positive. They approved the land speed record races for hot rod magazine (economic impact about 2 mill for next summer) and entertained contingency approval on two other projects. Went to the planning meeting for the local parade, plan the pyrotechnics, hot air balloons and the animal holding areas, worked on some of the vendor areas. Went to church and worked in the sound booth (trying to learn how to mix the bands). Received an email from the job I applied for. They want to offer me the job. Go on friday to work out the details. Yea EMPLOYMENT finally. Food: tea, banana, back to nature cookies, grapefruit/sage juice, big mac, fries.

Thursday, Sept 22nd...Worked with the city again. Making headway on the project that wraps up Oct 10th. It is 282 acres that are being certified for the food industries. We are inviting all of the state officials, local news people, city council, commissioners and many more - hoping for about 120 mucky muck types. Food: banana, tea, chicken salad sub from subway, spaghetti and meatballs, homemade sauce, tomato, onion, garlic, roasted red peppers, Italian spices, balls where chicken with more junk in them, no bread - used panko instead...

Friday, Sept 23rd...Have my meeting at 2ish today about the job. Hubby is on vacation today and all next week, so pray that we still like each other at the end. haha... tonight is date night so will have to wait and see about dinner. Food: tea and a banana so far

Off to read journals - have a wonderful fs day.

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES:

Saturday 9/17...watched the two movies I needed to for the parade, than a friend of mine told me about the love softly series on the hallmark channel so needless to say I did not do much except watch movies all day. HAHA...I did "pick up" around the house. FOOD: we did have chili which has the veggies cooked in and since there was not any ice cream or snacks in the house hubby had a smoothie for desert and I had nothing...

Sunday 9/18...went to church and then shopping with a friend of mine. We walked for about 5 hours and I did not get winded. Felt good to be able to walk that long without feeling so out of shape. FOOD: hot tea, tomato bisque soup with grilled chicken boob (from noodles and co), Carmel apple spice from starbucks, 1/2 chicken salad sand and 1/2 bowl o f potato salad from mcallisters. Tea all day to drink.

Monday 9/19...so far today I've caught up on the fs journals (I think)...seems like there is not near as much activity as when I was on here before. I remember not being able to keep up with it all and now it seems just like a small core group. Hummmmm

1/2 hour of weight loss tai chi, might feel this tomorrow...off to do laundry, pick up more of the house, grocery store and there is something else (cannot remember)..

have a great fs day....
