ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

The first week on the job was both good and bad. The good is that I have not forgotten as much as I thought I did and the bad is that I have forgotten alot. Finance has changed and the learning curve is pretty steep. I will conquer this. The house is a little messy as by the time I get home I do not feel like doing anything. Hopefully once I get used to the hours that will change.

Fun things this week: Book club on Thursday night. Our next book is The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, cannot wait to start reading it. On Sunday we had a picnic for the fire department, it was at a local therapy camp with zip lines, 4 story high balance boards, basketball, and an awesome cookout. Both hubby and I after we had eaten thought about how bad we felt eating that much food. We might be a little slow on the up take...haha...

Had to do taxes last night as we had filed extensions back in April.

The shakes are really working well...hubby has lost 13 pounds and I am stuck at 4 but think that it is because I am now eating lunch at work and not moving around as much (job is primarily a desk job). Will have to train myself to get up an hour early and do the tai chi again.

On a funny note, the first 3 days that I worked, when I came home my shepherd/lab spazzy would get mad at me and if I walked into the room she would leave or go outside...it was kinda cute. Her and her attitude.

Off to catch up all the journals I missed. Have a wonderful fs day. Will probably do another journal this weekend.

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...

It has been awhile since I posted a journal, have been trying to keep up with everyone though. This last week off before I start work TOMORROW has been hectic to say the least.

Have been doing really well with the shake program. Not snacking very much at all. Have not weighed myself in a couple of days. Will do so tomorrow am. Today was not a good food day, after the launch we went to a local pizza joint, I did have a salad first and then 2 slices of pizza (one cheese and one ham).

Have a wonderful FS night and talk to you all tomorrow or the day after.

I am thankful for:
1. a job to go to
2. unemployment when I did not have a job
3. a very loving husband
4. the opportunities that being unemployed afforded me
5. my puppy girls
6. awesome weather today for the launch
7. alot more but my brain is dead right now

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES....

Down 1 pound. Wrapping up my involvement with alot of the volunteering positions that I have held over the last year and half. Our local governor, ohio speaker of the house, and our local state representative came to town this past Tuesday to announce an expansion of our Airport that will create 259 jobs, so that was a very tense and exciting day. We are hoping that they come back this coming Monday to announce the certification of this 282 acres that is being dedicated to food service industries.

Taking a girlfriend shopping today to find a dress for her brothers wedding. Their mother passed just over a year ago and she is acting as mother of the groom and we want her looking awesome.

Start my new job next Tuesday.

I am grateful to have been able to do all that I have done over the last year and half.

I am grateful for a hubby that is very tolerant and is open to who knows what idea I come up with next.

I am grateful for a vehicle that runs like a charm, a house that is solid.

I am grateful for my 2 puppy girls. They love me no matter what strange hours I keep.

I am grateful for Gods love.
