I am running in the Hot Choclate 5k, my first race, on Saturday. Having something to train for was such a good motivator to get me to the gym after my internship and class. I've recommitted to better eating habits beginning on the First. Except for some Halloween candy, I feel like I'm doing pretty well so far. I feel like I'm getting back on track.

The last two weeks are a testament to how important an active lifestyle is. I have eaten pizza, fried chicken, ice cream, bread and fatty meat almost elusively for the past two weeks. However, I manage to lose half a pound. If I can rearrange things and eat better and be active it will be a successful summer indeed!

Back on track! Excercising every day, if only for a little bit and eating about 1600 calories. I was up to 150.6 this week and was waiting to weigh in on Friday just to have an end of the work week weigh in so I could having a treat over the weekend and have the whole week to work in off. I actually have lost an entire pound since Monday when I didn't want to weigh in!
