My weight loss battle has been life-long and I think some of the senseless "crash" diets of the 70's have made it more of a battle in the long run. Now I try to eat sensibly and balanced; whole grains, fruits, veggies, protein, dairy, etc. I started this round on the 3rd of Jan. of this year. It was been going fairly well (.4 - 2 lbs. per wk)until I hit a plateau a few weeks ago. I have since eaten a few foods that I knew would tip the scale in the other direction. It sometimes seems that I need to do that to give my metabolism a boost. Now I am back to eating the way I feel I should. I had been taking a weight lifting class that had to be cut short because of my work schedule. I haven't quite been able to fit exercise back in and know I need to commit to a plan for doing so.
