I've been doing the paleo diet for 14 days now (with minimal slip-ups) and I have to say that I feel great. This is the best diet I have tried so far. I am rarely ever hungry and even when my stomach is full, the calorie count on the meal is low and I love that.
Not to mention that grains (gluten) and dairy makes me bloated and constipated and that is slowly going away. I haven't felt this light since forever (if ever)
I am still fighting occasional cravings, but I am sure that will go away soon.
It's been a week since my last weigh in, but I have decided not to weigh in now, but on Monday. Weekends are always the hardest for me to stick to my diet plan, so I am using this as an additional motivation.
I've doing 2 classes of zumba per week for a month now, and starting June I will be adding, alongside zumba, an additional class of "hi-lo power" which is basically half of hour cardio, half of our strength training.
Fingers crossed I will be a good girl over the weekend and follow my diet! I mean, it's just two days, how hard can it be :P

I've been doing really well on paleo diet for the last week, with the exception of an occasional small piece of dark chocolate and salting everything even though paleo avoids salt. But I have really low blood pressure, so I just have to do it. I lost 2kg, and even though I know that it is probably mostly water weight, it is nice to see that the number is getting lower.
All week I've been fearing this weekend because I'm visiting my mom for 3 days and I know that the weekend will be full of temptations. It is easy to follow paleo when you stock your fridge with paleo-friendly foods, but less so when you're watching TV with your mom and she offers you chips. So I had some. It was only a bit, but I still know I shouldn't have.
I will put in more effort tomorrow. Meatloaf, rice and cabbage salad for lunch - I'll skip the rice, and I honestly doubt the meatloaf is 100% paleo, but I'll just have to make it work.
So my goal for this weekend is to eat as paleo as I can and get back on track when I go home. Fingers crossed!
