Still in a weight stall. To top it off, I have had an allergic reaction to something I have eaten. My diet is so regimented right now the only thing I can suspect is this new vegetable that I tried. We call it Celery root here but I believe in the U.S. it is called Celeriac. My Jamacian friend called it Dunnels. they look like a big knob but when you peel it and boil and mash it with butter it is very much like potatoes. My eyes have swollen and I have a rash on my chest. Be careful it you have any food allergies.

I can't believe that I haven't lost any more weight. I am following this diet relgiously. I haven't eaten any white bread, flour, potatoes, pasta or rice in over 5 weeks, (except for once), I would kill for a nice big glass of cold milk. I am getting extremely discouraged. I am going next week to get my Thryoid checked, my nurse friend thinks it might be that! Anyway I'll keep on trucking. If anything I do feel better, no more heartburn, and I am sleeping better. Got to stay positive.

Just finished making kvonnordheim's choc. cheesecake for an early Valentine's dinner. Had sample piece, I urge everyone to try it! thanks for the recipe!

Down another 1.5 lb. ya. I wish it could be more. But I guess 1.5 per week is normal. I wish it wasn't so xxxxxxx cold here I would go out for a walk or something. Can't wait until it is warm enought to bike ride.

Is there anyone else out there that lives in Canada? I am reading about all of these wonderful low carb products from the U.S. but I don't know where to get them in Canada. Can anyone help me? I have chekd the internet but no use.
