I have had a hellish week. Monday night, my back has a muscle spasm and put me into intense pain. I had to lay on ice again, I couldn't really bend over so my boyfriend had to help me get dressed and whatnot. At least I can walk, but no running or crunches for me for a while according to the Physical Therapist I had to see.
I also got put on Wellbutrin this week when I visited the doctor's office for my back. I have felt depressed and unmotivated. Alot of days, I feel hopeless and worthless in all aspects of my life. I hope it helps! I am just tickled that one of the side effects is weight loss. Maybe my lack of motivation due to depression has been part of the weight issue. Besides, when you are depressed, you tend to reach for comfort foods. Wellbutrin is also prescribed for helping people quit smoking, so if it can help with nicotine addiction, maybe it can help with my addiction to food? Let's hope so, cause I am tired of failing miserably at this weight loss thing!

I had to go to a banquet outta town this weekend and feel like crying that I actually ate the cheesecake.... Earlier, my boyfriend took me to a candy store and we had a gelato as well. I feel terrible. And of course, I didn't get to go walking or running, besides walking around the mall and whatnot.
The worst thing in the whole world is happening next weekend- My skinny friend from high school is coming to visit. Maybe I will juice fast and use water pills and laxatives and puke up anything I do eat before she comes? She even had a baby last year and is back down to a size 3 or 5 (from size 13 when she was pregnant). I am not pregnant, nor have I ever been and I am her pregnant size.
Anyway, I ate well today and tomorrow starts a new week. Maybe one day of eating like everyone else won't kill me. I checked and I still weigh the same- so no loss but no gain either. Its as if cheesecake and gelato never happened!

I hurt my back over the weekend and had to take it easy and ice the thing. Is this why I ate the same things and amount of calories and didn't lose any weight?
I am gonna get all dramatic and start freaking out if something doesn't happen.

I have been eating:
Breakfast:
1/2 cup oatmeal with Splenda
brown sugar and splash of milk= 175 calories
Lunch:
fiber one bar=140 calories
Snack:
grapefruit=100 calories
orange=60 calories
Dinner:
4 oz. salmon=100 calories
1/2 cup jasmine rice=180 calories
Promise fat-free butter 1 tbsp.=30
Snack:
fiber one yogurt=80 calories
Snack when I get home from work:
Small bowl of fiber one cereal and skim milk=200
Also I drink: Lots of Crystal Lite, Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, and Water
And I chew Trident gum at work.
Total calories~ About 1,100
When I start to work out, my daily calories will go up so that I can accommodate for the extra work my body is doing. I am crossing my fingers that this Iowa monsoon season thing will go away soon so I can finally get out of the house!!!!!!

I am back on the horse agian.... The dieting horse that is!
Fruits and veggies are back to being my friends again. I noticed that all of the thin, cute Asian ladies at my work are always eating fruit. ALL THE TIME! Many of my co-workers are from Laos and Vietnam and these countries have very healthy diets full of veggies and rice and fruit. Maybe I will find some recipes online to try? One particular meal consists of wrapping veggies and rice onto lettuce leaves. How awesome is that?
It is springtime, which means some days here in Iowa are actually nice enough to go out walking. When it isn't raining!!! I walked around so much on Saturday purely for the joy of being out that my legs STILL HURT!
Maybe others of us will wake from our winter slumber and get back to losing weight?
