HELP
I'm on Glycemic Impact Diet. 40% of my calorie intake comes from complex, unrefined carbohydrates such as whole grains (bread and cereal) and fruits instead of juice. The next 30% comes from lean protein such as chicken, and fish. Beef and pork meat are not prohibited, but are included in the diet occasionally. I have read on
Project Weight Loss
that The last 30% of the daily calorie intake should come from healthy fats, such as avocado, olive oil or nuts. To make it even clearer, here is an example of a meal plan. For breakfast, you can either have a vegetable omlet with wheat bread and strawberries or, if you are a cereal type of person, oat bran cereal with blackberries and milk. For lunch, you can choose between a sandwich with grilled cheese and tomato along with a salad and some milk, and a more traditional lunch, spicy chicken strips with fresh salad and yogurt.

Weight loss without workout?
Try to reduce the portion sizes, drink a lot of water and keep a record of your meals. Basically, you need to make sure you don’t eat more calories than your body needs, because the excess turns into fat. I use the diet planner at Project
Weight Loss
, and it’s worked great for me. You can select your meals and the website shows you if you`re over/under the calorie limit you need to stick to. They have thousands of members that can give u tips- it`s like a myspace for people who wanna lose weight, and it’s free.

Hey, where can I find out more about low carb diets?
Hello, as far as I know, the Atkins diet is quite dangerous and many people regained weight after they stopped the diet. Personally, I haven`t tried it, but you can find important info at
http://www.projectweightloss.com/news-1-104894-Five_Misconceptions_About_Low_Carb_Diets_
(I):_the_Atkins_Diet.html. Plus, I`m sure you`ll find someone who tried this diet in the community from projectweightloss.com. It`s like a MySpace for people who wanna lose weight.
