Did not stick to my workout schedule today. Instead, spent 5.5 hours in a car with no air conditioning, and chasing the 20 month old around car lots while his father attempted yet again to get us a new car. While I don't have a calorie count on that (good news, the bodybugg arrived via ups right before i left... so sadly, it had to charge during that adventure, but at least its home now!!) - i'm going to say that by the way i felt when i came home, i did more than enough running for one day. =). Its just too hot to deal with that for so many hours. both babyman and i came home on the wrong side of cranky-land.

on the plus side, tomorrow is my supposed rest day (you know, when i clean my entire house cause i hate sitting still for too long) so i can always make today up tomorrow, plus i'm babysitting 2 three year olds for 4 hours in the afternoon... i'd say i'm going to survive this. =).

Okay. Wanted to do something new for strength/cardio (cardio meaning something that is not my treadmill... i do treadmill enough every week, i need a break from it from time to time. =). so i have treadmill/yoga days, and strength/cardio days. and clean house cause its a rest day days, btw.) besides one of my standard dvds, and i was too lazy to try to find batteries for the wii board... (i put the last set into my son's talking stuffed puppy so he could hear it say his name a billion times a day *le sigh* heheh) - so i tried 10 minute solutions kickboxing, because it's available instantly through netflix. mind you, it's not a 10 minute dvd... it's 5 10 minute workouts that can be performed together for a full 50 minute boot camp type experience.

uhh.

you'd think after a year of boot camps, cardio circuit dvds, etc etc i'd be able to handle one more, right? umm... i got 30 minutes in. it was somewhat hard core. =). still, my arms legs and abs are all burning, and i definitely sweat enough to feel successful. so i win!
