I’m a 44 pharmacy technician at a compounding pharmacy. It’s there that I discovered the whole idea of HCG for weight loss. I am under the care of a local doctor who prescribes this for weight loss. My pharmacy compounds it and my insurance pays for it.

Background: Total hysterectomy in 2008. The cancer I had was controlled by the surgery. Fought the roller coaster ride of being on synthetic thyroid medication for years now take Compounded Armour Thyroid.

2006 I decided I would get in shape and start going to the gym and cycling. I started the weight loss/get fit journey at about 232 pounds. That was the heaviest I had ever been in my life and my 5'2 frame suffered.

I did the 2007 BP MS 150 bike ride from Houston to Austin…MY MOUNT EVEREST! Oct. 2009 I did my first duathlon, 2 mile run followed by a 12 mile bike ride and ending with a 2 mile run. I came in 16th in my category out of 19.

I hope that the HCG diet will be the final push I need to get my weight down to a lifestyle weight that I can maintain. My family is fully supportive both with the diet and with me actively.

Goal on Round 1 is to loose 15-18. R. 2 will be BACK to BACK and I hope to loose another 15-18 pounds. Open for suggestions, advice, criticism, recipes, and questions.

Start HCG: Jan. 1, 2010 – 208.5 Goal wt 175

Down 25 lbs in 30 days so far
Have been reading some of the interesting posts on here and thought I'd finally chime in:

Are we all adults here?

Do we really need to criticize each other with mindless psychobabble?

Can we possibly stop being so judgmental?

Could we maybe just get on with whatever it is we are all doing?

These questions are not to infer anything to anyone. These are just questions that maybe all of us reading the dialogue here might want to ask ourselves. That is merely my opinion.

10 Things I look forward to when I lose enough weight to show and feel
I could start off with just DITTO to all the above but maybe I can come up with 10 of my very own!

10. Grow old with my 6 years younger than me husband.

9. Actually be around to spoil grandkids.

8. Know the feeling of what its like to KNOW you look great!

7. Pass on to my children the importance of health, nutrition, and exercise as a way of life.

6. Do a family relay competition and actually be competitive. (Husband does triathlons and teenage son is a cross country runner.)

5. Become competitive in my bike racing. Not being the "fatlady" that comes in last. (and not having to hear, "well at least you were out there."

4. Knowing when I pick up a certain sized dress, shirt, or pants that I DON'T have to try it on first to see IF it will fit!

3. Saving my family money to enjoy doing something fun. No more multi nights a week of eating out!

2. One day wear a Tankini.

1. To be FIT and FABULOUS before Fifty!

HCG - Simeons Protocol buddy out there?

Make sure you are drinking a lot of water. Hot green tea is also a natural appetite suppressant.

Make sure you are tracking your food. You will find that there are certain foods your body reacts differently to so just pay attention to your diet calendar.

Make sure that you aren't getting some hidden sugar somewhere. Ketchup and spices hide it in there sometimes. Also if you are using Stevia make sure it is that and not Truvia. That is made with Pure cane sugar and stevia...HUMM!

In the end you might need an appetite suppressant.

need ideas to "spice" up veggies
Try Bragg's Liquid Aminos with the Bragg's Organic 24 Herbs and Spices. If you add both of these to some organic apple cider vinegar you have a great vinegarate dressing.
