well, I guess it time I take some time and update my Bio. I am a single mom of 6 wonderful kids ages range from 8-17. I had the oldest 2 bio and adopted the other 4 siblings. being single was not something I ever imagined with 6 kiddos, but I'm here to say it can be done. I work in sales 45-50 hours a week, take care of a large house and 10.5 acres with horses, dogs, cats and chickens. got rid of the cows. lol (little escape artists). I keep busy with ball games. choir and band concerts and what ever events my kids can come up with. even parties with 20-30 teens all over my house. never a dull moment. Recently bought a boat to play on. its a little big for me but im figuring it out. (sea ray 240 with merc 350 max) I enjoy traveling and family time. Right now I am working on building my self up after a bad relationship. Trusting in God to bring me the right person for my life that can bring out joy, love and security to our lives. Learning to be patient.

Second month, only 1 lb lost
some things to try. use apple sauce when baking instead of oil.(equal parts) use Greek yogurt on tacos instead of Sour Cream. sounds weird I know. it works. I make taco salad for me when I do tacos for the kids. lettuce/ tomato's/ onion/ meat. whatever you put on taco except the shell. pour salsa on for dressing and a dollop of Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. use cheese sparingly if at all. very low calorie, very healthy and you will be satisfied. try it.

Girl, You CAN do this. Changing habits is hard. We all know this. There is no need to be hungry while on your diet(life change) either. Go to the supermarket. DONT go down the isles in center of the store. This is where you will find all the sugar flour packed junk. go around on the outside of the store. by lean meats, fruits, veggies. This will require cooking but that a good thing. it will get you up and motivated. you will be more proud of your results if you are the one creating the meal as well. Not sure what to make. this site has some good recipes to look at. if you are hungry. eat and apple or some protein (meat) try not to fry it. bake or grill all you can. Tilapia is amazing steamed and is quick. so is shrimp. use any seasoning you want. Don't cut everything you love out but make some small changes. This is a journey and you need to leave so adventures for down the road. Trust me. you got this.

I am doing a very low fat and low carb diet right now. I have only about 2 more weeks of that then will be able to add more fat and calories in. then I will add back in carbs from potatoes and sugars. right not the only carbs I am eating come from fruits and veggies. I probably should watch those too but the way I see it they are healthy and im watching so much other stuff I let those pass.

I am down now from 176 to 156. 20 pounds in a 5 weeks. going very well. Weekends are hard because we are at the lake and would love to have a social drink with everyone and eat catfish and fries at the local dive we go to. I decided yesterday to drink a gallon of water a day for the next month. I am really excited to see the results. not just health and weight wise but in skin tones and dark circles under eyes. I read it makes a world of difference. yesterday was my first day. I didn't loose as much as expected but I think its because im getting hydrated back up. I know I was really getting dehydrated..
