I've never kept a journal - not sure what I'm supposed to write about. I guess the point is to document the journey.

I joined this site on the reccomendation of the Atkins Community - this is a great tool for tracking my food and nutrition. I look forward to finding the iPhone app. I have access to the site from work and home so the phone thing is just fluff :)

I've joined a couple of challenges; one is a walking challenge, the other is a 5 lb a month loss goal. I'm thinking that should be pretty easy. 15 lbs is 10% of my total loss goal.

I weigh every day but i'm only going to record my weight once a week. ALthough i just joined this site, I began my weight loss journey May 31st at 310 lbs. The top 7 lbs were a surprise and they went away very fast so that may have had something to do with my cycle or eating too much Chinese food.
