I have a love hate relationship with my weight. Since having kids my weight has been up and down, before I could eat what I wanted and never put weight on. I have tried many diets, but find them too restricing. I love to eat seeds & nuts if I feel like it. I could never get to grips with counting calories, but this takes a lot of that for you. I can see in advance and make changes before I do any damage. I have been on a week and have lost 2lbs. I am only 5lbs away from my mini goal. I am married with two grown up children. I live in the countryside in England. I love any craft hobbies, sewing crochet & knitting to name a few. My main hobby is listening to and going to Staus Quo concerts, love the band since 1967.

Thanks, it's not a holiday fix. I have a goal to achieve, the holiday is a milestone marker. I do not intend to starve, I am unable to exercise as I did when I was younger due to injury. Good luck with your way.

I am new to this site, only found it by accident. I have been on various diets.............still need to find the right one. Not really into calorie counting, but need to lose about a stone & a half. Half would be good before my holiday in 8 weeks time. Wish me luck!!!

Hi Lisa, I am new too. Smile I want to shed a few pounds before my holiday in July. I am interested in the 5 : 2 diet, you 'fast' on 2 days a week. They recommend lower calorie intake than the other 5. I have no idea on calories so I need help. I saw this site and its free so may be the fix I need. My name is Sue X
